Release Notifications
This site uses ntfy.sh to push notifications when TVA or Duke Energy adds, changes, or cancels a release window. Subscribe per-river to get only the alerts you care about.
No account required. The ntfy app may prompt you to
sign in on first run -- dismiss / skip past that. Public topics like
ours work anonymously.
How to subscribe
- Install ntfy on your phone: iOS / Android / F-Droid.
- If a sign-up / sign-in screen appears, skip it (back arrow / dismiss). An account is only useful for syncing across devices or reserving private topics; our release topics are public and don't need one.
- From the main screen, tap + Subscribe to topic.
- Either scan one of the QR codes below, or copy a topic URL from a card (use the Copy URL button) and paste it into the ntfy app's subscribe field.
- Done -- you'll get a push the moment we observe a new, changed, or cancelled release window.
Three event types fire to each topic: NEW when a release is added, CHANGED when its generator count shifts (more or less water than originally scheduled), CANCELLED when it drops off the schedule entirely.
